According to the short bio on Amazon: "Clarke Mayer is a filmmaker, photographer, and writer from New Jersey. Most of his day is dominated by a Black Mouth Cur named Pam who doesn’t ever run out of energy. He likes to write, hike, and run, but most of all he likes to read and watch crime, spy, horror, and thriller stories."

According to the bio on his website: "I'm a writer—specifically of screenplays and books—filmmaker, and photographer. Here you'll find some links to books of mine you can purchase, films I've worked on, as well as some of my photography. I've placed in various contests, including as a quarterfinalist in The Academy Nicholl Fellowship, semifinalist in Screencraft's Screenwriting Fellowship, and as a finalist for The Blacklist Feature Lab. My first short film, FEED A, was selected by Werner Herzog for his fifth Rogue Film School in LA, and I got to learn from him for four days straight, so that was pretty dope."
